DESCRIPTION

An exciting experience that draws thrill-seekers from all over the world is white water rafting on the Zambezi River close to Victoria Falls. The Zambezi is renowned for its difficult rapids and provides some of the greatest white-water rafting experiences. Grades 1 through 5 are appropriate for both novice and experienced rafters.

Usually beginning below the Falls, the rafting excursions travel through a sequence of strong rapids, gorgeous gorges, and spectacular landscapes. Experienced experts lead each excursion, ensuring everyone's safety while offering insights into the ecosystem of the river and the surrounding areas.

There are choices for full-day expeditions that include lunch and other activities, but rafting trips typically run around half a day. This exhilarating event offers more than simply thrills—it's a chance to enjoy the unspoiled splendor of one of Africa's most famous rivers. White-water rafting on the Zambezi is an experience that will never be forgotten, whether you're navigating Class IV and V rapids or taking in the more serene sections.

Park fees: US$10 per person

Duration: Pick up 0700- 0730hrs to 1400hrs / HIGH WATER

: Low water 0700-0730hrs to 1600hrs

What to Wear: Swimsuit and shorts/cycling shorts but nothing that water will suck away T-shirt or long-sleeved shirt for sun protection Sturdy shoes/trainers or rafting shoes. Your shoes must be securely fitted to your feet (i.e. no flip-flops) or they will be lost! Wet Suits will be provided in the winter months.

Things to Bring: A way to secure glasses to yourself or they will be lost Sunscreen and lip balm (guides will have dry bag for this) A peak cap that will fit comfortably under your helmet. Bring as little as possible!
